Acrylic Token upgrades
I was looking at options to get our acrylic tokens done more efficiently and came across a distributor for layered colored acrylic in 1/8". What does this mean? This means we can put away our paintbrushes and make much more intricate pieces in a variety of colors and open up some more options.

We now have Surveys!
It's been a long time since we posted an update. The past week and a bit has been filled with organizing, setting up the BackerKit file, and organizing the company of Diceborn Games in the hopes to make something that will last and bring you a ton more games and additions to the world. Most of you guys should be getting updates now for surveys, these are going to be for the upcoming thank you video.
We will be doing a YouTube Live video Tuesday June 20th at 7pm MT. Join us we will be taking some questions and toasting all those who helped back us!
The survey questions sent are just for the thank you video and a shipping address to get final quotes. The official shipping will all be managed through the BackerKit Survey that will be sent out as soon as the funds are transferred and we can get those sent.
Our hopes is that the BackerKit survey will be your spot to adjust your address for shipping and provide any add-ons you may want after the fact.
Hero Artwork
The new Hero artwork is coming through steadily now and it has been a glowing beacon on the play area. Each Hero now has their personality shine through on the card and connects the players and their role with their fellow heroes. Determined, Naive, reckless, or vengeful. Can't wait to show it all off.

With the last hour coming up we have surpassed all the goals I had planned and almost doubled the quests and extras in the box. We will message backers with updates throughout the summer which will be busy getting everything in order before our big trip to GenCon in August. The BackerKit Survey will be sent out in a few days you will be able to use this to adjust your pledge level, get additional add-ons, change your address and message us up to September when we finalize everything.

Update 14: Approaching The Final Day

We managed to hit all the content goals!
It's been an exciting week, who would have thought we would hit the Kicktraq list 3 times during this campaign. Unlocking the final quest and making the last bit count. I have added one more goal to get another copy of each hero card into all the KS Editions to allow for people to use different artwork for their heroes and have more duplicate classes. Now is a good time to see what the KS Edition has included These aren't completely finalized but they are close.

There is enough game here that we can replay it with new combinations of heroes and monsters and quests for a long time. Not to mention the additional Acrylic tokens and wooden dice tower available. I'm excited to share it with you.
There are new monsters in the KS edition
3 New monsters are added to each level of the monster decks (9 new monsters total) including a new type of monster "magic" type. These monsters are for more advanced players and often do a lot of additional effects, Monsters that will exhaust their target's hero abilities or boost other enemy attacks.

Update 13: $100,000 and going!

$100,000 and still going!
We are at the home stretch and we're closing in on the last few Stretch Goals. So I am leaving a quick update for people to update their pledge levels soon so we can get the last goals added to the game. We are very close to unlocking the Swordcerer class.
Quest and Boss Oversized cards revised
Due to overwhelming response we have decided to go with a more easily sleeved option for the larger quest and Bosses to help keep these cards protected for generations. All the oversized cards will now be 80mm x 120mm Which are Dixit sized cards. There are easy to find options for sleeves for these cards plus they will give us room in the box to lay them down in the box without impeding other card slots.
Add-ons after the campaign
At the end of the campaign we will be doing a BackerKit Survey where you can select your rewards for your pledge level. Each Pledge level will have their own survey and you can add additional items for it using the amount you pledged. Any additional costs will be collected after the Survey. The following items are available as add-ons:
Additional copy of Diceborn Heroes KS edition ($59 CAD)
Digital Download of the game Including all cards and artwork (choice of original or High Res art) ($5 CAD for physical copy backers or $20 CAD for supporter level)
Blackthumb wooden Dicetower for Diceborn Heroes ($60 CAD)
